How do I know a dog is the right animal for me? Answer the questions below.

1. Are you going to care about the dog even when he is old or sick?
2. Are you going to try to walk the dog at least once a day?
3. Are you going to try not to leave the dog alone at home for a long period of time?
4. Can you afford a vet to give any needed vaccine or care the dog in any way?
5. When you go on vacation do you have someone to look after the dog?

If you answered yes for most of the questions a dog is the right pet for you.



WHAT DOES PEDIGREE MEAN??


Pedigree is another name for "pure breed". All pedigree animals have a family the same breed. If an animal is NOT pedigree it´s family isn´t all the same breed.



Getting Ready!!


Before you take your dog home, make sure you have the right food (ask your vet.) Make sure you have a Vet and the right equipment. Always make sure your dog has CLEAN water to drink and his food bowl must be washed every day (same thing to the water bowl) dogs are very playful animals, so if you like to be active, a dog is perfect for you!! If you are worried or concerned about your dog, ASK YOUR VET!!
Dogs are verry enjoyfull animals and fun to play with. But just because your dog is cute it doesn´t mean he can do anything he feels like. Remember to train him!!! Dogs are also very smart animals. Make sure your dog is comfortable where he is. NEVER hit your dog.
